This time of year, early January, we often have college athletes visiting Key Largo to train at Jacobs Aquatic Center in preparation for the Orange Bowl Classic swim meet. I always shoot the actual swim meet, but yesterday I did a warm up shoot with the University of Michigan swim team.
Coached by Mike Bottom, the same coach that brought The Race Club to international prominence last summer, the Michigan team has several gold medalists from the summer Olympics and are indeed a formidable presence in the pool. Here's few shots from the day.
